R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The Honorable Robert Hebert is being recognized for |
|
his many years of public service and for his contributions as the |
|
executive director of Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels at the |
|
organization's celebratory gala on October 14, 2021; and |
|
WHEREAS, Established in 1974, FBS Meals on Wheels provides |
|
nutrition and support services for senior citizens in Fort Bend and |
|
Waller Counties; a longtime supporter of the local nonprofit, Bob |
|
Hebert was appointed interim chief executive officer in 2019, and |
|
since that time, he has worked closely with board and staff members, |
|
civic partners, and volunteers to enhance operational efficiencies |
|
in order to meet the needs of the community; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Hebert served four terms as Fort Bend County |
|
judge, from 2003 through 2018; his exemplary record of public |
|
service also includes tenures as temporary receiver for the City of |
|
Arcola and as city manager of Rosenberg; moreover, he has over 40 |
|
years of experience in strategic management and planning, |
|
principally through his consulting firm, Robert Hebert and |
|
Associates; he holds a master's degree in business administration |
|
from Pepperdine University and a doctorate in management from |
|
California Coast University; and |
|
WHEREAS, Demonstrating exceptional vision, skill, and |
|
leadership, Bob Hebert has rendered invaluable service to his |
|
fellow citizens, and his myriad achievements indeed merit special |
|
recognition; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commend Robert Hebert for |
|
his outstanding contributions to the Fort Bend County community and |
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his |
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Hebert as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
