R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, David Collier achieved great distinction by making a |
|
|
hole-in-one at the Sulphur Springs Country Club golf course on |
|
|
October 14, 2021; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Teeing off on the par-3 No. 17 hole, Mr. Collier |
|
|
nailed a 121-yard shot to sink his ace; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This notable Texan retired to Sulphur Springs in |
|
|
2016, following a career with Oncor that spanned four and a half |
|
|
decades; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, David Collier has demonstrated tremendous skill on |
|
|
the golf course, and he may indeed take pride in this remarkable |
|
|
feat; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate David Collier |
|
|
on making a hole-in-one at the Sulphur Springs Country Club golf |
|
|
course and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
on the links; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Collier as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
