Amend CSHB 3979 (house committee report) on page 2 by striking lines 4 and 5 and substituting the following lettered paragraph:
(____) the writings of and about the founding fathers and mothers and other founding persons of the United States, including the writings of and about:
(i) George Washington;
(ii) Ona Judge;
(iii) Thomas Jefferson;
(iv) Sally Hemings; and
(v) any other founding persons of the United States.
