Amend CSSB 1 (house committee printing) in Article VI of the bill, following the appropriations to the Water Development Board (page VI-59), by adding the following appropriately numbered rider:

____. Funding for Removing Accumulated Siltation from the San Jacinto River and Lake Houston. Out of amounts appropriated above in Strategy B.1.1, State and Federal Financial Assistance Program, the Water Development Board shall allocate $50,000,000 for the state fiscal biennium beginning September 1, 2021, for the purpose of providing financial assistance for removing accumulated siltation and sediment deposits throughout the San Jacinto River and Lake Houston.
