Committee Report (Unamended) |
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE
Leaders of independent school districts across Texas suggest that district resources would be better spent on providing students with a quality education, instead of paying highway tolls. H.B. 130 seeks to ensure school district resources are not spent on highway tolls by prohibiting a toll project entity from requiring a school bus to pay a toll for use of a toll project.
