AUTHOR'S / SPONSOR'S STATEMENT OF INTENT
S.B. 1925 simply requires the secretary of state to publish on the secretary of state's website the voting history record provided by the local registrar. This record only indicates the voter and the process by which the voter voted: election day, early voting by personal appearance, or voted early by mail. The record provided by the registrar does not indicate the contents of a ballot.
As proposed, S.B. 1925 amends current law relating to the publication of the record of voters who voted in an election.
RULEMAKING AUTHORITY
This bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, institution, or agency.
