A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to research duties and reports of the workers' |
|
|
compensation research and evaluation group. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 405.0025, Labor Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: |
|
|
(d) The report required under Subsection (b) must |
|
|
separately evaluate the factors under Subsection (c) with respect |
|
|
to the claims of first responders, as defined by Section 504.055. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
