A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the release of certain data purchased by the Texas |
|
|
Department of Transportation. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter J, Chapter 201, Transportation Code, |
|
|
is amended by adding Section 201.813 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 201.813. COUNTY DATA FROM PORTS-TO-PLAINS CORRIDOR |
|
|
STUDY. Notwithstanding any other law or agreement to the contrary, |
|
|
on request, the department shall provide a written or electronic |
|
|
copy of all data purchased by the department for the purpose of |
|
|
conducting the study on the Ports-to-Plains Corridor required by |
|
|
Chapter 756 (H.B. 1079), Acts of the 86th Legislature, Regular |
|
|
Session, 2019, disaggregated by county. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
