A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the comptroller's rulemaking authority under the |
|
|
Insurance Code. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 3504.0007(b), Insurance Code, is amended |
|
|
to read as follows: |
|
|
(b) The comptroller[, in consultation with the |
|
|
commissioner,] may adopt rules to implement this chapter. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
