A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|

|
relating to information about candidate filings held by fresh water |
|
|
supply districts. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

|
SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 53, Water Code, is amended |
|
|
by adding Section 53.090 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 53.090. CANDIDATE FILINGS. A district shall, on |
|
|
request, provide by mail information filed by a candidate for |
|
|
office with the district under Chapter 144, Election Code. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
