CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
|
|
|
WHEREAS, House Bill No. 1525 has been adopted by the house of |
|
|
representatives and the senate and is being prepared for |
|
|
enrollment; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be |
|
|
corrected; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED by the 87th Legislature of the State of Texas, That |
|
|
the enrolling clerk of the house of representatives be instructed |
|
|
to make the following corrections: |
|
|
(1) In SECTION 7 of the bill, in added Section |
|
|
28.004(e-1)(2)(A), Education Code (page 6, lines 20 and 21), strike |
|
|
", at which an opportunity for public comment is provided,". |
|
|
(2) In SECTION 7 of the bill, in added Section |
|
|
28.004(e-1)(2)(B), Education Code (page 6, lines 24 and 25), strike |
|
|
", at which an opportunity for public comment is provided". |
|
|
(3) In SECTION 48(a) of the bill, repealing provisions of |
|
|
the Education Code: |
|
|
(A) immediately following the semicolon (page 62, line |
|
|
20), insert "and"; and |
|
|
(B) strike Subdivision (5) (page 62, line 21), and |
|
|
renumber subsequent subdivisions accordingly. |
