R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |
|
of Hilario Alvarado Jr. of San Isidro, who passed away on November |
|
10, 2019, at the age of 71; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born in Mission, Texas, on April 8, 1948, to Hilario |
|
Alvarado Sr. and Benita Garcia Alvarado, "Lalo" Alvarado grew up |
|
with the company of his three siblings, Benito, Francisco, and |
|
Margarita; and |
|
WHEREAS, A dedicated educator for 30 years, Mr. Alvarado made |
|
a positive difference in the lives of countless students in the San |
|
Isidro Independent School District and the Rio Grande City |
|
Consolidated Independent School District; in addition to teaching, |
|
he owned Economy Awards Company with his brother, and he served as |
|
director for the Valley Telephone Cooperative, Inc. board; and |
|
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Alvarado enjoyed the love |
|
and support of his wife, Alma, with whom he shared a rewarding union |
|
of nearly five decades; he took great pride in his three children, |
|
Sara, Hilario, and Anabella, and he delighted in time spent with his |
|
three grandchildren, Hilary, Hilario, and Diego; and |
|
WHEREAS, Lalo Alvarado lived a rich and purposeful life |
|
centered around his family and his faith, and he will long be |
|
remembered with deep affection by all who knew him; now, therefore, |
|
be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Hilario Alvarado |
|
Jr. and extend sincere condolences to all who mourn his passing; |
|
and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Hilario |
|
Alvarado Jr. |
