R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Austin Elementary School in the Edinburg |
|
|
Consolidated Independent School District has been named to the |
|
|
2019-2020 Honor Roll by the Educational Results Partnership; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A nonprofit organization dedicated to improving |
|
|
student outcomes and career readiness, the Educational Results |
|
|
Partnership recognizes public elementary, middle, and high schools |
|
|
that demonstrate high achievement levels and reduced achievement |
|
|
gaps; Austin Elementary School is one of around 3,500 campuses in |
|
|
Texas and California named to this year's honor roll; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A quality education is critical to the continuing |
|
|
vitality of our state, and the faculty and staff of Austin |
|
|
Elementary School are helping their students to reach their full |
|
|
potential and to become engaged and productive members of their |
|
|
community; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Austin Elementary School on its |
|
|
inclusion on the 2019-2020 Educational Results Partnership Honor |
|
|
Roll and extend to all those associated with the school sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Austin Elementary School as an expression of high |
|
|
regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
