R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |
|
of Alfred Nicholas Harmon of League City, who passed away on May 11, |
|
2020, at the age of 63; and |
|
WHEREAS, Nick Harmon was born to Alfred and Ethel Harmon on |
|
November 19, 1956, in Baytown; this passionate outdoorsman became a |
|
game warden in 1985 and served with the Texas Parks and Wildlife |
|
Department for more than three decades before retiring in 2018; in |
|
his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he led many |
|
youth hunts with his fellow law enforcement officers; and |
|
WHEREAS, Deeply devoted to his family, Mr. Harmon shared a |
|
rewarding marriage with his wife, Kimberly, and he took great pride |
|
in his children, Kristal, Michael, and Cody; with the passing |
|
years, he embraced his role as "Pappy," treasuring the time he spent |
|
with his granddaughters, Arya and Maya; and |
|
WHEREAS, Nick Harmon lived a rich and purposeful life |
|
centered around his family and his work, and he will forever be |
|
remembered with great affection by all who knew him; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Alfred Nicholas |
|
Harmon and extend sincere condolences to those who mourn his |
|
passing; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Nick |
|
Harmon. |
