R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Kirven Wayne White of
  Waxahachie were deeply saddened by his death on February 16, 2021,
  at the age of 69; and
         WHEREAS, Kirven White was born to J. H. and Oma White in
  Bridgeport, Texas, on November 15, 1951, and he grew up with the
  companionship of his sister, Gwenda, and his brother, Mick; and
         WHEREAS, After graduating from high school, Mr. White
  answered his nation's call to duty and enlisted in the United States
  Army; he served in the 1st Cavalry Division during the Vietnam War
  and was awarded numerous honors, including the Bronze Star Medal,
  the Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Stars, and the National
  Defense Service Medal; honorably discharged in 1975, he returned to
  civilian life and began a career in sales with Breco Rental
  Equipment; he retired from MIINC in 2013; and
         WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. White enjoyed the love and
  support of his wife, Dorothy, with whom he shared a rewarding union
  that spanned more than four decades; he took great pride in his two
  children, Brian and Kaleia, and with the passing years, he had the
  pleasure of seeing his family grow to include a grandson, Brandon;
  his favorite leisure activities included bowling and fishing, and
  he especially treasured time spent with his loved ones; and
         WHEREAS, Kirven White was a brave soldier, a caring husband,
  and a devoted father, and he will forever be remembered with
  admiration and affection by all those who were fortunate enough to
  know him; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Kirven Wayne White and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
  wife, Dorothy Maxine White; to his son, Brian White, and his wife,
  Belinda; to his daughter, Kaleia Cloud, and her husband, Blake; to
  his grandson, Brandon White; to his brother, Mick White, and his
  wife, Diane; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Kirven
  White.
