R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Collision Masters in Hidalgo County is celebrating |
|
its 25th anniversary in 2021; and |
|
WHEREAS, Collision Masters was established in 1996 by Joel |
|
Garcia, who learned about cars from his father and from his high |
|
school auto body classes; Mr. Garcia had previously managed a body |
|
shop in Sharyland when he became the owner and sole technician of |
|
Collision Masters; and |
|
WHEREAS, Over the years, the body shop has progressed from a |
|
one-man operation to a thriving company with locations in Mission |
|
and Edinburg and more in the works; even as it has grown, Collision |
|
Masters has remained a family business, now operated by Joel Garcia |
|
and his son, Cruz; and |
|
WHEREAS, Collision Masters has made significant |
|
contributions to the local economy for a quarter century, and it |
|
stands as an inspiring example of the success that can be realized |
|
by hardworking entrepreneurs; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commemorate the 25th anniversary of Collision |
|
Masters and extend to Joel Garcia, Cruz Garcia, and their employees |
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the business as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
