R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Medical City Arlington has earned designation as a |
|
|
Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Facility from the Texas |
|
|
Department of State Health Services; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This prestigious recognition is awarded to |
|
|
facilities that go above and beyond the state's minimum hospital |
|
|
licensure requirements to ensure the highest quality care for |
|
|
mothers and newborn babies; the designation reflects an |
|
|
administrative and operational dedication to improving, |
|
|
expediting, and standardizing treatment of neonatal patients; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to its outstanding neonatal care, |
|
|
Medical City Arlington provides a wide range of services in areas |
|
|
such as labor and delivery, gynecologic surgery, infertility, and |
|
|
breast health, and it has received designation as a Level II Trauma |
|
|
Center and a Level 2 Stroke Center; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Medical City Arlington has played a vital role in |
|
|
ensuring the health and well-being of area residents, and its Level |
|
|
III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Facility designation is a |
|
|
testament to the exceptional skill and dedication of its |
|
|
physicians, administrators, and staff; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Medical City Arlington on its |
|
|
designation as a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Facility |
|
|
and extend to all those associated with the hospital sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success with their important work; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Medical City Arlington as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
