R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Lopez Pressure Wash of Corrigan has been selected as |
|
|
a 2020 Small Business of the Year by the Lufkin/Angelina County |
|
|
Chamber of Commerce; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each year, the chamber honors businesses for their |
|
|
contributions to the local community, and Lopez Pressure Wash was |
|
|
named as the recipient for Division 3, which consists of companies |
|
|
with 10 or fewer employees; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ashley and Francisco Lopez began a side business |
|
|
pressure washing trucks in 2011, and seven years later, they |
|
|
officially established Lopez Pressure Wash as a full-time |
|
|
operation; since its founding, the company has expanded its |
|
|
services to include pressure washing of residential and commercial |
|
|
properties; moreover, the business has proven to be a generous |
|
|
community partner by volunteering to clean local playgrounds during |
|
|
the COVID-19 pandemic; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Small businesses play a critical role in meeting the |
|
|
needs of area residents, and the owners and employees of Lopez |
|
|
Pressure Wash may take great pride in this notable honor; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Lopez Pressure Wash on its |
|
|
selection as a 2020 Small Business of the Year by the |
|
|
Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce and extend to all those |
|
|
associated with the company sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the business as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
