R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the
  passing of Rosalinda P. Morin of Del Rio on February 13, 2021, at
  the age of 73; and
         WHEREAS, Rosie Morin was born on December 27, 1947; while
  attending Del Rio High School, she met the love of her life, Jesus
  Morin; the couple wed on October 15, 1966, and during their 54 years
  of marriage, they shared in the joy of raising two sons, Jesus and
  Ramon; their family later grew to include two granddaughters,
  Isabella and Carissa, and Mrs. Morin also cherished the time she
  spent with Scott McGehee, whom she regarded as her son, and his
  children, Lauren, Sierra, Courtney, and Michael Scott; and
         WHEREAS, During a career that spanned more than 30 years,
  Mrs. Morin was employed with the Texas Apparel Company in Del Rio
  and Eagle Pass; in her leisure time, she enthusiastically cheered
  on her sons at sporting events, as well as the teams that her
  husband coached; moreover, she assisted other families so that they
  were able to be on hand for the games, and she made a special effort
  to show support for players whose parents were not able to attend;
  and
         WHEREAS, A caring and compassionate woman, Rosie Morin will
  be deeply missed, and those who held her dear will forever remember
  the warmth and kindness she brought into their lives; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Rosalinda P. Morin and
  extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her
  husband, Jesus Morin; to her sons, Jesus Morin Jr. and his wife,
  Marina, and Ramon Morin and his wife, Cristina; to her
  grandchildren, Isabella and Carissa; to Scott McGehee, and his
  children, Lauren, Sierra, Courtney, and Michael Scott; and to her
  other relatives and many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Rosie
  Morin.
