R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Gildardo Andres Ceballos has been named the 2020 |
|
|
Physician of the Year at OakBend Medical Center in Richmond; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This notable accolade is presented annually to a |
|
|
physician who demonstrates exceptional skill, compassion, and |
|
|
professionalism in his or her clinical practice; Dr. Ceballos was |
|
|
recognized by his colleagues for his unwavering dedication to the |
|
|
care of his patients and for his willingness to go above and beyond |
|
|
to fulfill his duties during the COVID-19 pandemic; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A board-certified internist, Dr. Ceballos studied |
|
|
medicine at Del Rosario University in Bogotá, Colombia, before |
|
|
moving to the United States and completing his internship and |
|
|
residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at |
|
|
Houston; he strives to be attentive to the needs of his patients, |
|
|
while ensuring that they are treated to the highest standards of |
|
|
care; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his outstanding commitment to his |
|
|
profession, Dr. Gildardo Ceballos has earned the admiration of his |
|
|
colleagues and patients alike, and he may take great pride in his |
|
|
receipt of this well-deserved honor; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. Gildardo Andres Ceballos on |
|
|
being honored as the 2020 Physician of the Year at OakBend Medical |
|
|
Center and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Dr. Ceballos as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
