R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Evie Tsen-Ying Kao has been named valedictorian of |
|
|
the Class of 2021 at Bellaire High School, and she indeed merits |
|
|
special recognition for receiving this significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing her place as a top-ranking |
|
|
student in her class, Ms. Tsen-Ying Kao demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Tsen-Ying Kao completed her high school studies |
|
|
with an impressive grade point average of 5.0; following |
|
|
graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in business at The |
|
|
University of Texas at Austin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During her years at Bellaire High, Evie Tsen-Ying |
|
|
Kao has earned the respect and admiration of both her teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Evie Tsen-Ying Kao on graduating as |
|
|
valedictorian of the Bellaire High School Class of 2021 and extend |
|
|
to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the |
|
|
next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Tsen-Ying Kao as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
