R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Annie Zhu has been named valedictorian of the Class |
|
|
of 2021 at Bellaire High School, and she indeed merits special |
|
|
recognition for receiving this significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing her place as a top-ranking |
|
|
student in her class, Ms. Zhu demonstrated a thorough understanding |
|
|
of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of this coveted |
|
|
distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable high school |
|
|
career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Zhu completed her high school studies with an |
|
|
impressive grade point average of 5.0; following graduation, she |
|
|
plans to pursue a degree in symbolic systems at Stanford |
|
|
University; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During her years at Bellaire High, Annie Zhu has |
|
|
earned the respect and admiration of both her teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Annie Zhu on graduating as |
|
|
valedictorian of the Bellaire High School Class of 2021 and extend |
|
|
to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the |
|
|
next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Zhu as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
