R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Cary Moon has been reelected to the Fort Worth City |
|
|
Council in 2021; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In fulfilling the duties of his office, Mr. Moon |
|
|
will draw on a wealth of valuable experience; he has represented |
|
|
District 4 on the city council since 2015, and during his tenure, he |
|
|
has chaired Fort Worth Tax Increment Financing Districts 7 and 13, |
|
|
as well as the city's internal audit committee; in addition, he has |
|
|
been actively involved with the Fort Worth Public Housing Finance |
|
|
Commission, the Regional Transportation Council of the North |
|
|
Central Texas Council of Governments, the Fort Worth Sports |
|
|
Authority, and the Fort Worth Local Development Corporation; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of Texas A&M University, Mr. Moon is the |
|
|
president and chief executive officer of Moon Financial Inc., which |
|
|
co-owns a portfolio of business and real estate entities in the |
|
|
Dallas and Fort Worth area; previously, he was the CEO for Community |
|
|
Bank and the chief financial officer of a medical company; in all |
|
|
his endeavors, he enjoys the love and support of his wife, Alisha, |
|
|
and their two children; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of |
|
|
life for their fellow citizens in innumerable ways, and the |
|
|
continuing efforts of Cary Moon will help to make Fort Worth an even |
|
|
better place in which to live and work; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Cary Moon on his reelection to the |
|
|
Fort Worth City Council and extend to him sincere best wishes for a |
|
|
successful tenure; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Moon as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
