R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Brittany Reed has ably served her fellow citizens as |
|
|
a legislative aide and social media manager in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Chris Turner during the 87th Legislative Session; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Reed has provided vital |
|
|
assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in |
|
|
addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing residents of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of Texas A&M University, Ms. Reed holds a |
|
|
bachelor's degree in political science, and she is a special needs |
|
|
education advocator for Consumer Directed Services in Texas; |
|
|
previously, she was an intern for the Cisneros for Congress |
|
|
campaign in California, where she supported financial data |
|
|
analysis; she plans to attend the Texas A&M University School of Law |
|
|
in August 2021; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Brittany Reed has performed her duties as a |
|
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Brittany Reed for her service as a |
|
|
legislative aide and social media manager in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Chris Turner and extend to her sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Reed as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
