R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Taylor Fox of Fort Worth has been selected as the |
|
|
2021 Nurse of the Year and the recipient of the 2021 Gold |
|
|
Stethoscope Award for Nursing Excellence by JPS Health Network; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A public hospital in Tarrant County, JPS Health |
|
|
Network was named the number one teaching hospital in the nation by |
|
|
Washington Monthly in 2020; the facility is one of only 162 in the |
|
|
country with a nursing residency accredited by the American Nurse |
|
|
Credentialing Center; the year-long program training offers new |
|
|
nurses additional education, professional development, and support |
|
|
during their transition from college into their first professional |
|
|
position; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her unwavering commitment to the well-being |
|
|
of those in her care, Taylor Fox has distinguished herself as an |
|
|
outstanding role model in the nursing community, and she may indeed |
|
|
take great pride in this much deserved honor; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Taylor Fox on her selection as the |
|
|
2021 Nurse of the Year and on her receipt of the 2021 Gold |
|
|
Stethoscope Award from the JPS Health Network; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Fox as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
