R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Faye Geremia has ably served her fellow Texans as a
  legislative aide in the office of State Representative Gene Wu
  during the 87th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Geremia has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks
  such as analyzing the potential impact of proposed legislation,
  managing correspondence and communication with constituents, and
  preparing bill materials and documents; in addition to gaining
  valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned
  more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens
  of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Geremia holds a bachelor's degree in political
  science from the University of Houston, where she graduated magna
  cum laude; prior to beginning her tenure with Representative Wu,
  she was an intern in the Harris County Clerk's Office, and she has
  served as an intern, office manager, and deputy field organizer for
  several political campaigns; and
         WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a
  legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Faye Geremia for her service as a
  legislative aide in the office of State Representative Gene Wu and
  extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her
  endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Geremia as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
