H.R. No. 1309
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Sarah Campbell has ably served her fellow Texans as
  a policy analyst in the office of State Representative Gene Wu
  during the 87th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Campbell has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
  which have included conducting research pertaining to criminal and
  juvenile justice; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the
  field of public service, she has learned more about the legislative
  process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Campbell earned her bachelor's degree in
  criminal justice from the University of Oklahoma in 2019, and she is
  currently enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin, where she
  is expected to graduate with a master's degree in public affairs in
  May 2022; she has focused on criminal and juvenile justice policy in
  her coursework, and she has served as a volunteer for both the Texas
  Prison Education Initiative and the Texas Fair Defense Project; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
  duties as a policy analyst with skill and dedication, and she is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Sarah Campbell for her service as a
  policy analyst in the office of State Representative Gene Wu and
  extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her
  endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Campbell as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
