R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, In recognition of his exemplary efforts as a City of |
|
|
Mesquite employee, Rocky King has been selected as one of the |
|
|
quarterly honorees in the Real Texas Service Champions program; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This worthwhile initiative celebrates hard-working |
|
|
city employees who have distinguished themselves through their |
|
|
dedication, professionalism, and positive attitude; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A heavy equipment operator in the Department of |
|
|
Public Works, Mr. King is responsible for collecting large brush |
|
|
and bulky items on his five routes; he performs his work with great |
|
|
skill and meticulousness, and he is admired for his friendly |
|
|
attitude toward residents and his mentorship of younger staff; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, On a daily basis, Rocky King renders valuable |
|
|
assistance to his fellow citizens, and he is indeed deserving of |
|
|
this prestigious award; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Rocky King on being selected as a |
|
|
Real Texas Service Champion by the City of Mesquite and extend to |
|
|
him sincere best wishes for continued success in his important |
|
|
work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. King as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
