R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Frank Conselman has been elected to the board of |
|
|
trustees of the Rockwall Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In fulfilling the duties of his office, |
|
|
Mr. Conselman will draw on a wealth of valuable experience; he has |
|
|
been an active member of the PTA, and he is a former president of the |
|
|
board of the Rockwall County YMCA, as well as the Rockwall Rotary |
|
|
Club, which has twice honored him with the Service Above Self Award; |
|
|
in 2017, he received the Carnegie Hero Medal for rescuing two men |
|
|
from drowning while on vacation; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The owner of a successful local business, |
|
|
Mr. Conselman is an active member of First United Methodist Church |
|
|
of Rockwall; in all his endeavors, he benefits from the love and |
|
|
support of his wife, Nicole, as well as that of his four children, |
|
|
all of whom have attended Rockwall ISD schools; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The essential mission of educating young Texans |
|
|
depends on the able and dedicated efforts of our school board |
|
|
trustees, and Frank Conselman may indeed reflect with pride on his |
|
|
accomplishments as he takes on this challenging new role; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Frank Conselman on his election to |
|
|
the Rockwall ISD Board of Trustees and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for a successful tenure; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Conselman as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
