R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Codi Nguyen has ably served his fellow Texans as |
|
|
legislative director in the office of State Representative Hubert |
|
|
Vo during the 87th Legislature; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Nguyen has helped |
|
|
carry forth the representative's legislative agenda while also |
|
|
handling a wide range of challenging tasks; with characteristic |
|
|
diligence and dedication, he has assisted with numerous pieces of |
|
|
legislation benefiting the constituents of House District 149 and |
|
|
citizens across the state; he has earned the respect and admiration |
|
|
of colleagues for his keen attention to detail, for his broad |
|
|
expertise, and for the care with which he approaches each new |
|
|
assignment; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Nguyen previously distinguished himself in a |
|
|
number of other positions at the Capitol, including service as a |
|
|
legislative aide to Representative Vo and Representative Rodney |
|
|
Anderson; a native Texan, Mr. Nguyen completed his bachelor's |
|
|
degree in political science and mathematics at Baylor University, |
|
|
where he was a Bob Bullock Scholar; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed his |
|
|
duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and he is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Codi Nguyen for his service as |
|
|
legislative director in the office of State Representative Hubert |
|
|
Vo and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Nguyen as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
