R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Raleygh Simpson of Tivy High School in Kerrville |
|
|
distinguished herself through her participation in the 2021 |
|
|
University Interscholastic League Golf State Tournament; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joining the state's other top 5A girls' competitors |
|
|
at White Wing Golf Club in Georgetown on May 10 and 11, Ms. Simpson |
|
|
turned in a notable performance, shooting a combined score of 158 |
|
|
over the two days of play; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By earning the right to compete in the state's |
|
|
premier showcase for high school golfers, this determined young |
|
|
Texan has ably represented her school and community, and she may |
|
|
indeed reflect with pride on her accomplishments; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Raleygh Simpson on her |
|
|
participation in the 2021 UIL Golf State Tournament and extend to |
|
|
her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Simpson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
