R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ta'Leigha Leondria Johnson has been named |
|
|
salutatorian of the Class of 2021 at West Oso High School in Corpus |
|
|
Christi, and she indeed merits special recognition for receiving |
|
|
this significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing her place as one of the two |
|
|
top-ranking students in her class, Ms. Johnson demonstrated a |
|
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her |
|
|
attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement |
|
|
of a notable high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During her years at West Oso High School, Ta'Leigha |
|
|
Johnson has earned the respect and admiration of both her teachers |
|
|
and classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and |
|
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and |
|
|
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ta'Leigha Leondria Johnson on |
|
|
graduating as salutatorian of the West Oso High School Class of 2021 |
|
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she |
|
|
begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Johnson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
