R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Shameka Ayesha Fatima Cobb has been named |
|
|
salutatorian of the Class of 2021 at Collegiate High School in |
|
|
Corpus Christi, and she indeed merits special recognition for |
|
|
receiving this significant honor; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing her place as one of the two |
|
|
top-ranking students in her class, Ms. Cobb demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During her years at Collegiate High School, Shameka |
|
|
Cobb has earned the respect and admiration of both her teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Shameka Ayesha Fatima Cobb on |
|
|
graduating as salutatorian of the Collegiate High School Class of |
|
|
2021 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as |
|
|
she begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Cobb as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
