R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Matthew Sun has been named valedictorian of the |
|
|
Class of 2021 at London High School in Corpus Christi, and he indeed |
|
|
merits special recognition for receiving this significant honor; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; in securing his place as the |
|
|
top-ranking student in his class, Mr. Sun demonstrated a thorough |
|
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his attainment of |
|
|
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable |
|
|
high school career; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During his years at London High School, Matthew Sun |
|
|
has earned the respect and admiration of both his teachers and |
|
|
classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and commitment |
|
|
to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future |
|
|
for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Matthew Sun on graduating as |
|
|
valedictorian of the London High School Class of 2021 and extend to |
|
|
him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins the next |
|
|
exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Sun as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
