R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Citlali Botello has been named the 2021 Outstanding
  Student at Amarillo College Moore County Campus; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Botello was nominated for the honor by four
  different ACMCC faculty members, and her exemplary academic
  performance and involvement in campus and community activities
  earned her the prestigious distinction; in addition to conducting
  campus tours and leading tutoring and study groups as a student
  ambassador, she has participated in events such as the United Way
  Day of Caring and the Dogie Days parade; over the course of her time
  at the college, she has also earned repeated placement on the dean's
  list; and
         WHEREAS, This notable young Texan graduated from ACMCC on May
  14, 2021, with an associate degree in pre-nursing, and she plans to
  continue her studies at West Texas A&M University; an alumna of
  Dumas High School, she was a recipient of a QUEST scholarship from
  the Dumas Education Foundation; and
         WHEREAS, Citlali Botello has demonstrated a steadfast
  commitment to academic excellence, and she may reflect with pride
  on her accomplishments as she looks forward to a future bright with
  promise; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Citlali Botello on her selection as
  the 2021 Outstanding Student at Amarillo College Moore County
  Campus and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
  in all her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Botello as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
