R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Clint Maurer of Panhandle High School has achieved |
|
|
notable success in the 2021 University Interscholastic League |
|
|
Academic State Meet, held from April 30 to May 1; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Competing against some of the brightest students in |
|
|
the Lone Star State, Mr. Maurer won a silver medal for his strong |
|
|
performance in the 2A social studies contest; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his hard work and commitment to excellence, |
|
|
Clint Maurer has distinguished himself in the state's premier high |
|
|
school academic competition, and his accomplishments are a source |
|
|
of great pride to his school and community; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Clint Maurer on earning the silver |
|
|
medal in the 2A social studies contest at the 2021 UIL Academic |
|
|
State Meet and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Maurer as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
