R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever treasure their
  memories of Norman Neal Hahn of Pleasanton, who died on
  September 3, 2020, at the age of 88; and
         WHEREAS, The son of John and Hazel Hahn, Norman Hahn was born
  on January 6, 1932, and he grew up with three siblings, John, Clyde,
  and Katherine; and
         WHEREAS, Answering his nation's call to duty, Mr. Hahn served
  proudly in the U.S. Army; in civilian life, he began his career
  working as a roustabout for Mobile Oil in Talco, and in 1989, he
  retired from ExxonMobil after 40 years as an electrical foreman in
  Pleasanton; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Hahn shared a loving union with his wife, the
  former Betty Jo Belcher, who preceded him in death; he took great
  pride in their two daughters, Deborah and Rebecca, and two
  grandchildren, Neal and Lauren; and
         WHEREAS, Those who were privileged to share in this esteemed
  man's love and friendship will always remember him with great
  tenderness and affection; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Norman Neal Hahn and
  extend heartfelt sympathy to his family and many friends; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Norman
  Hahn.
