R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |
|
of Robert Eugene Dismang, who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the |
|
age of 76; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Basil and Gladys Dismang, Bob Dismang was |
|
born on September 13, 1943, in Lebanon, Missouri; and |
|
WHEREAS, Answering his nation's call to duty, Mr. Dismang |
|
served as an aircraft mechanic in the U.S. Air Force; he also |
|
enjoyed a career as a truck driver that spanned more than three and |
|
a half decades; and |
|
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Dismang benefited from the |
|
love and support of his wife, Connie, with whom he shared a |
|
rewarding marriage that spanned 54 years; he was the proud father of |
|
five children, Dora, William, Calvin, Aldon, and Allen, and with |
|
the passing years, he had the pleasure of seeing his family grow to |
|
include 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and |
|
WHEREAS, While his loss is difficult to bear, Bob Dismang |
|
leaves behind numerous friends and loved ones whose lives are far |
|
richer for having known him, and he will always hold a treasured |
|
place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Robert Eugene Dismang |
|
and extend sincere condolences to all who mourn his passing; and, be |
|
it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Bob |
|
Dismang. |
