R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories
  of Humberto Villarreal of Falfurrias, who passed away on February
  17, 2020, at the age of 85; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Enrique and Martha Villarreal, Humberto
  Villarreal was born on October 21, 1934, and grew up with seven
  siblings, Eutiquio, Homero, Roel, Raul, Enrique, Cesar, and
  Yolanda; and
         WHEREAS, Answering his nation's call to duty, Mr. Villarreal
  served in the U.S. Army; he went on to enjoy a long career as a
  supervisor for HS Shanks & Son that spanned more than three decades
  until his retirement in 1996; he also worked as a rancher; and
         WHEREAS, A valued member of his community, Mr. Villarreal
  gave generously of his time and talents as a baseball coach for the
  Falfurrias Little League, and he never hesitated to help out his
  neighbors; and
         WHEREAS, Blessed with a devoted family, Mr. Villarreal
  benefited from the love and support of his wife, Leovilda Rivera
  Villarreal, until her passing, and he took great pride in his
  children, Christobal, Humberto, and Kristina; through the years, he
  had the pleasure of seeing his family grow to include seven
  grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, Humberto Villarreal lived a full and generous life
  surrounded by those he loved, and they will forever carry him close
  in their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Humberto Villarreal
  and extend sincere condolences to his family: to his children,
  Christobal Villarreal and his wife, Ninfa, Humberto Villarreal Jr.
  and his wife, Marissa, and Kristina Rodriguez and her husband,
  Cirildo; to his siblings, Roel Villarreal, Raul Villarreal and his
  wife, Imelda, Enrique Villarreal Jr. and his wife, Elda, Cesar
  Villarreal, and Yolanda Villarreal and her husband, Benito; to his
  grandchildren, Angela Villarreal, Andrea Marie Benavides, Humberto
  Villarreal III, Max Andrew Villarreal, Sierra Bianca Villarreal,
  Amanda Grace Villarreal, and Derrik Allen Gracia; to his
  great-grandchildren, CJ, Dayna, Evelyn, Logan James, Darla,
  Arnold, and Tres; and to his other relatives and many friends; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Humberto
  Villarreal.
