A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the compensation of and reimbursement of expenses of |
|
|
directors of the Conroe Municipal Management District No. 2. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subtitle C, Title 4, Special District Local Laws |
|
|
Code, is amended by adding Chapter 3991 to read as follows: |
|
|
CHAPTER 3991. CONROE MUNICIPAL MANAGEMENT DISTRICT NO. 2 |
|
|
SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS |
|
|
Sec. 3991.0101. DEFINITIONS. In this chapter: |
|
|
(1) "Board" means the district's board of directors. |
|
|
(2) "Commission" means the Texas Commission on |
|
|
Environmental Quality. |
|
|
(3) "Director" means a board member. |
|
|
(4) "District" means the Conroe Municipal Management |
|
|
District No. 2 created by an order of the commission on August 14, |
|
|
2019. |

SUBCHAPTER B. BOARD OF DIRECTORS |
|
|
Sec. 3991.0201. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES. (a) The district |
|
|
may compensate each director in an amount not to exceed $150 for |
|
|
each board meeting. The total amount of compensation for each |
|
|
director in one year may not exceed $7,200. |
|
|
(b) A director is entitled to reimbursement for necessary |
|
|
and reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out the duties and |
|
|
responsibilities of the board. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
