SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 131
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Anthony Kimble
 
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever treasure their
  memories of U.S. Army Sergeant Anthony T. Kimble, who died on
  February 12, 2021, at the age of 32; and
         WHEREAS, Anthony Kimble was born in St. Louis, Missouri,
  on September 10, 1988, to Anthony Kimble and Gloria Baker, and he
  grew up with three siblings, Amanda, Shamar, and Sharron; after
  graduating from Beaumont High School in 2008, he enlisted in the
  army, and over the course of the next 13 years, he served with the
  National Guard in Japan, Germany, China, North Carolina,
  Missouri, and Texas, earning many commendations as well as the
  respect and admiration of his fellow soldiers; he was most
  recently assigned to Fort Bliss in El Paso; and
         WHEREAS, A lively, good-humored, and generous man,
  Sergeant Kimble was an inspirational presence in the lives of
  everyone he met; he was the author of three books, including
  Kimble Psalms: Prayer of a Psalmist, and he was the founder of a
  suicide awareness and prevention program called the Kimble
  Psalms Project and Art Productions, for which he produced
  illustrations and portraits of people he met through his work; he
  also promoted awareness through his YouTube channel; and
         WHEREAS, Anthony Kimble was a devoted son, brother, uncle,
  nephew, and friend, and he leaves behind a legacy of compassion
  and concern for others that will continue to illuminate the
  hearts of all those who knew and loved him; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th
  Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the memory of Sergeant Anthony
  T. Kimble and extend heartfelt sympathy to his family and many
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns
  this day, it do so in memory of Anthony T. Kimble.
