SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 264

WHEREAS, When they married many years ago, Frank Nunez and Lisa Aguirre Nunez made a lifetime commitment to each other, and their mutual trust has been amply rewarded, for on March 5, 2021, they celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Frank and Lisa met in high school in the spring of 1987, and they quickly became fast friends; their friendship flourished and blossomed into a romantic relationship, and on March 5, 1991, they married at the Hidalgo County Courthouse; and

WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably in the years since their marriage, yet Mr. and Mrs. Nunez continue to cherish the shared values that helped inspire their bond long ago; they have grown stronger in their love and devotion as together they have navigated the joys and hardships of life; and

WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Nunez have been blessed with a wonderful family; they are beloved by their two accomplished daughters, Bianca and Alyssa, and their grandson Izaiah is a source of great pride and joy for them; and

WHEREAS, Frank and Lisa are professionals and respected members of the Pharr community; their long and happy union is truly an inspiration to all who know them; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Frank and Lisa Nunez on their 30th wedding anniversary; and, be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared in their honor.
