SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 306
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  Diann Stadler
 
         WHEREAS, A life lived with joy and purpose drew to a close
  with the passing of Diann Tavender Stadler of Fort Worth on
  February 21, 2021, at the age of 65; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Ann Sutherland and Roy Tavender,
  the former Diann Tavender was born in Fort Worth on September 7,
  1955, and she grew up with the companionship of her brother,
  Edward; on June 11, 1977, she exchanged wedding vows with John
  Christian Stadler II, and through the years, the couple became
  the proud parents of two children, John Christian Stadler III and
  Graham Edward Stadler; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Stadler was talented in the art of
  needlepoint, and her work can be found at the National Cathedral
  in Washington, D.C., and the Cook Children's Medical Center in
  Fort Worth; in addition, she was a member of the steering
  committee that led the 1996 Needlepoint Project at First United
  Methodist Church of Fort Worth; and
         WHEREAS, An engaged member of her community, Mrs. Stadler
  gave generously of her time and talents to such organizations as
  the Pi Beta Phi sorority at Texas Christian University, the Fort
  Worth Garden Club, and the Junior League of Fort Worth; she was
  also an avid traveler, and she visited numerous countries over
  the course of her lifetime; and
         WHEREAS, Deeply dedicated to her family, her faith, and her
  community, Diann Stadler brightened the world for all who knew
  her, and they will forever hold her close in their hearts; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th
  Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the life of Diann Tavender
  Stadler and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family:
  to her husband, Chris Stadler; to her sons, Christian Stadler and
  his wife, Lauren, and Graham Stadler; to her mother, Ann
  Sutherland; to her brother, Edward Tavender; to her
  mother-in-law, Florian Stadler; and to her other relatives and
  many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns
  this day, it do so in memory of Diann Stadler.
