Diann Stadler |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, A life lived with joy and purpose drew to a close |
|
|
with the passing of Diann Tavender Stadler of Fort Worth on |
|
|
February 21, 2021, at the age of 65; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Ann Sutherland and Roy Tavender, |
|
|
the former Diann Tavender was born in Fort Worth on September 7, |
|
|
1955, and she grew up with the companionship of her brother, |
|
|
Edward; on June 11, 1977, she exchanged wedding vows with John |
|
|
Christian Stadler II, and through the years, the couple became |
|
|
the proud parents of two children, John Christian Stadler III and |
|
|
Graham Edward Stadler; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Stadler was talented in the art of |
|
|
needlepoint, and her work can be found at the National Cathedral |
|
|
in Washington, D.C., and the Cook Children's Medical Center in |
|
|
Fort Worth; in addition, she was a member of the steering |
|
|
committee that led the 1996 Needlepoint Project at First United |
|
|
Methodist Church of Fort Worth; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, An engaged member of her community, Mrs. Stadler |
|
|
gave generously of her time and talents to such organizations as |
|
|
the Pi Beta Phi sorority at Texas Christian University, the Fort |
|
|
Worth Garden Club, and the Junior League of Fort Worth; she was |
|
|
also an avid traveler, and she visited numerous countries over |
|
|
the course of her lifetime; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Deeply dedicated to her family, her faith, and her |
|
|
community, Diann Stadler brightened the world for all who knew |
|
|
her, and they will forever hold her close in their hearts; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th |
|
|
Legislature, hereby pay tribute to the life of Diann Tavender |
|
|
Stadler and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: |
|
|
to her husband, Chris Stadler; to her sons, Christian Stadler and |
|
|
his wife, Lauren, and Graham Stadler; to her mother, Ann |
|
|
Sutherland; to her brother, Edward Tavender; to her |
|
|
mother-in-law, Florian Stadler; and to her other relatives and |
|
|
many friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be |
|
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns |
|
|
this day, it do so in memory of Diann Stadler. |
