SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 372
         WHEREAS, Sarah Hamilton of McKinney has attained the Girl
  Scout Gold Award, and she is being honored for her accomplishment
  on May 22, 2021, in a special ceremony hosted by the Girl Scouts
  of Northeast Texas; and
         WHEREAS, To earn this distinction, Ms. Hamilton
  successfully met a series of requirements emphasizing community
  service, personal and spiritual growth, positive values, and
  leadership skills; as part of that process, she planned and
  implemented a Girl Scout Gold Award project that will have a
  positive and lasting impact in her community; and
         WHEREAS, By fostering self-confidence and by encouraging
  young women to explore career opportunities and to become more
  socially conscious, the Girl Scout program is helping its
  participants to achieve their greatest potential as engaged
  citizens and leaders; and
         WHEREAS, The maturity and dedication that Ms. Hamilton has
  demonstrated in pursuit of her goals truly exemplify the highest
  ideals of the Girl Scouts, and she may indeed reflect with pride
  on a job well done; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th
  Legislature, hereby congratulate Sarah Hamilton on her receipt
  of the Girl Scout Gold Award and extend to her sincere best wishes
  for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Hamilton as an expression of high regard from
  the Texas Senate.
