No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Based upon the information provided by the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Transportation, it is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to establishment of the Texas Active Shooter Alert System could be absorbed using existing resources.

This analysis assumes the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant impact on state correctional populations or on the demand for state correctional resources.

The Texas Association of Counties does not anticipate a significant fiscal impact to counties.

The City of Abilene does not anticipate a fiscal impact to the city.
