No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Health and Safety Code Chapter 161 to change the minimum hours of inservice training designed to assist certain employees and health care professionals in identifying abuse or neglect, and illegal, unprofessional, or unethical conduct.

The Health and Human Services Commission indicates it could absorb the costs associated with the bill within current resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
