No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Health and Safety Code Chapter 161 to change the minimum hours of inservice training designed to assist certain employees and health care professionals in identifying abuse, neglect; and illegal, unprofessional, or unethical conduct from eight hours to four hours.

It is assumed that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
