According to the Office of Court Administration, the costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to the prohibition of certain employment discrimination regarding an employee who is a volunteer emergency responder could be absorbed using existing resources. The Texas Workforce Commission anticipates no fiscal impact from the bill as it provides no enforcement authority for the agency.
