No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Occupations Code to allow state occupational license holders to file suit in district court to challenge municipal occupational regulations applicable to the license holders.
According to the Department of Licensing and Regulation, no significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Local Government Impact
The City of Houston anticipates significant financial impact. The fiscal implications to other units of local government cannot be determined at this time due to an absence of responses.
