No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 372 of the Transportation Code to prohibit a toll project entity or a private entity that operates a toll project from disclosing vehicle speed information to a law enforcement agency for the purpose of proving an offense pertaining to speed restrictions.

Based on the information provided by the Texas Department of Transportation and the Department of Public Safety, it is assumed the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant operational or fiscal impact to the State.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
